Brotherhood St. Christoph: Over 630 years of tradition

The Brotherhood St. Christoph is a community of Christian brotherly love and, with over 22.500 members, one of the largest charitable organizations in the Alpine region. The headquarter of the Brotherhood is in St. Christoph am Arlberg, in Tyrol, Austria.

600 Year-Celebration

600 years Celebration - The Brotherhood of St. Christoph has a rich history that goes back over 628 years. We want to be the anchor for people in need hand in hand. We see ourselves as a generation community that spans the entire globe. Our values of the founding times are our guide today.

Meeting brings Cohesion

Meetings are important to us. People want to be seen and heard. That is as important for our members as it is for the people that we support with our donations. Only thus are hearts drawn together, more closely than just by donations.

Fostering of our community

We place great importance on the fostering of our community. Our annual meeting strengthens our unity and gives us the opportunity to establish our roots and to unite generations.

Admission to the Brotherhood St. Christoph

On 23.04.2019, 14 musicians of the Musikkapelle St. Anton am Arlberg were newly admitted to Brotherhood St. Christoph by Brotherhood Master Adi Werner. Kapellmeister Günther Öttl and chairman Christian Haueis were allowed to take over the guarantee for the new sisters and brothers, and cordially welcome them to the Brotherhood.

Brotherhood-Weekend from 11th - 14th July 2019

The Brotherhood-Weekend 2019 will take place from Thursday July 11th until Sunday July 14th. The focus will be again on personal meetings and exchanges between brothers and sisters. The highlights of the attractive program are as follows:


January 2019: The anchor for people in need

The Credo of the Brotherhood St. Christoph is helping. Founded in 1386 by Heinrich Findelkind, this thanks to the tireless efforts of the family Gerda and Adi Werner now counts over 22,000 members from all over the world. So far , more than 18 million euros have been donated to families in need - two companies from the region recently handed over its donations - the company Neurauter Frisch from Ötztal-Bahnhof and the Lecher K.Club - a generous donation to this charitable institution.
