Brotherhood St. Christoph: Over 630 years of tradition

The Brotherhood St. Christoph is a community of Christian brotherly love and, with over 22.500 members, one of the largest charitable organizations in the Alpine region. The headquarter of the Brotherhood is in St. Christoph am Arlberg, in Tyrol, Austria.

600 Year-Celebration

600 years Celebration - The Brotherhood of St. Christoph has a rich history that goes back over 628 years. We want to be the anchor for people in need hand in hand. We see ourselves as a generation community that spans the entire globe. Our values of the founding times are our guide today.

Meeting brings Cohesion

Meetings are important to us. People want to be seen and heard. That is as important for our members as it is for the people that we support with our donations. Only thus are hearts drawn together, more closely than just by donations.

Fostering of our community

We place great importance on the fostering of our community. Our annual meeting strengthens our unity and gives us the opportunity to establish our roots and to unite generations.

Team Arlberg donates € 21.540,-- for the Brotherhood

Donation handover: Team Arlberg collects EUR 21,540 for the Brotherhood of St. Christoph at the Race Around Austria!

Marco Jordan from Pettneu am Arlberg and Thomas Kofler from Feldkirch, both members of the St. Christoph Brotherhood, rolled off the launch pad in St. Georgen im Attergau on August 11th. Ahead of them lay 2200 kilometers and 30,000 vertical meters - non-stop with the racing bike on the outer border around Austria. The goal and the mission: To reach the finish line healthy on the one hand at the toughest cycle race in Europe, the Race Around Austria, on the other hand to collect donations for the Brotherhood of St. Christoph!

Marco Jordan: “For many families, the Corona time was and still is a very difficult one. There are many who can no longer practice their profession or have to endure blows of fate. If we're going to start such a slightly “crazy” race, then we wanted to do it for a good cause. So it all made an even deeper sense! "

Thomas Kofler: “We both have a lot in common with the Arlberg. That's why we decided to start this race for the St. Christoph Brotherhood. The race was a sporting challenge, but we made it together as the Arlberg team. It was a very profound experience to be able to hand over a donation to the brotherhood with the great conclusion! "

21,540 euros collected

Donors from near and far have transferred this impressive sum directly to the account of the St. Christoph Brotherhood for the “TEAM ARLBERG” campaign.

Started to finish - in the finish on the podium in third place!

Who would have thought this at the beginning of the race - the “TEAM ARLBERG by RadHaus Rankweil” on the podium at the Race Around Austria! Actually nobody, because the goal was to arrive at the goal. However, nothing has been left to chance in the supervisory team around the team leaders Johannes Scalet and Sandra Köck. Over a period of six months, the 14-person supervisory team invested an incredible amount in preparation. The race was meticulously timed down to the last detail.

And it was worth it! The jubilation around the “rookie team” from the west at the finish line was unbelievable: After 3 days, 2 hours and 8 minutes, Marco and Tom crossed the finish line in third place in the two-man competition. Sporty 10 hours below the allotted time.

Brotherhood Sunday 2021.

The annual Brotherhood Sunday took place on Sunday, July 11th 2021 - this year in St. Anton am Arlberg and not as usual in St. Christoph. The reason for this was preparatory work for the renovation of the Hospiz.
It was a very nice experience to be able to celebrate this Sunday with its always very special mess on the forecourt of the Arlberg WellCom with many sisters and brothers, many who later became it, guests big and small ... The weather was fantastic - not too cold, not too hot - very, very pleasant!
Many thanks to all actors in front of and behind the scenes - you made this special brotherhood Sunday even more special - FANTASTIC !!!!!
