The time will soon come, and two members of the St. Christoph Brotherhood, brother Thomas Kofler from Feldkirch and brother Marco Jordan from Pettneu am Arlberg, will start the toughest cycle race in Europe on August 11, 2021 at 10 a.m. in St. Georgen am Attersee. The extreme RACE AROUND AUSTRIA with 2,200 km is the longest individual time trial in Europe and a qualification race for the RACE ACROSS AMERICA.
Because the Arlberg is their home and the idea to participate was born on the Arlberg, Thomas and Marco start as TEAM ARLBERG. The TEAM ARLBERG starts as a team of two. The two met through the Arlberg Giro. In real life, Thomas is the team boss of the Vorarlberg professional cycling team. Marco works as an event manager for the St. Anton am Arlberg tourist office.
Why are Marco and Thomas doing this? On the one hand because they are athletes with body and soul and have fun doing it, on the other hand for a good cause to raise money directly. Donations can be made directly to the brotherhood via the homepage www.team-arlberg.at. To date, 4,700 euros have already been received. Many thanks to the many donors who have already donated. Perhaps there is one or the other donor for the brotherhood among you.
A start on this adventure requires extensive organizational effort, many kilometers of training, a 13-person supervisor and ORGA team, and it means a great deal of financial outlay. For the start of the TEAM ARLBERG in 2021, an amount of around 10,000.00 euros is required. As a partner or sponsor you can secure “vertical meters” and support the ARLBERG TEAM with 1 euro per vertical meter. Numerous partners have already been found. Every euro that is left here goes to the brotherhood as a direct donation.
What is the basic idea behind this for the brotherhood to start this action?
On the one hand, both members have a direct connection to the brotherhood and on the other hand Brother Marco would like to say THANK YOU with this charity campaign - his family has received significant help and support from the brotherhood in the past.

Thank you very much for your great support!
