Our main aim is to help families with many children who, through no fault of their own, are in financial difficulties. The Brotherhood St. Christoph considers its purpose to be able to see this need, and to act promptly and without red tape, thereby giving sustained help. Such financial difficulties can be caused by divorce, illness or accident of parents or children, death or natural disasters (avalanche or flooding).
Over 1,500 requests are processed every year. Over the last 50 years we have been able to build up a good network and work together with other welfare organizations such as Caritas, Austrian Catastrophy Aid, Network Tyrol, the union „women helping women“ and also the Social Security offices, to ensure that the donations are really received by those families that really need them.
